At The Village Garden, we believe breakfast is crucial, and we serve Windhoek's best breakfast. Our chefs prepare mouthwatering dishes, from classics like the Fry Up to innovative creations like The Village Benedict and Breakfast Bowl, catering to all tastes.
We prioritize fresh, locally sourced ingredients to support our community of farmers and producers. Every dish is made with love, providing a memorable experience that will have you returning for more. Our cappuccinos feature delicious coffee from local roasters, Slowtown Coffee.
Alongside our fantastic breakfasts, we offer nourishing lunches like the Creamy Chicken Pasta and refreshing Salad Bowls with homegrown lettuce. Enjoy a freshly squeezed juice in our tranquil ambiance.
We cater to vegetarians and vegans with delightful options that are hugely popular.
Families are warmly welcomed, and we've created a child-friendly environment with a beautiful playground, baby changing station, and kids menu.
Whether it's a small gathering of 10 or a larger celebration of up to 150 guests, we specialize in hosting diverse events, from baby showers to birthdays, with various venue choices available.

Terms & Conditions
The Village Garden is open for booking of events from Monday to Saturday, between 08:00 and 23:00. Special holiday hours are to be communicated.
Working Time:

Kindly note that we offer 3 respective slots for bookings. A morning session, afternoon session and evening session.

Multiple session bookings are available upon request.

As you make your booking, please keep your set-up time and packing up time in consideration.

Please note that you are required to vacate the venue by the end of your session. This includes the time needed to pack up all belongings.
Setup Time:

N$250 per hour to be charged for set up at a maximum 2 hours prior.
Extended Time:
-
Our facilities close at 22:00, should you need extra time we go only until 00:00 maximum and it is charged at N$500 per extra hour or part thereof. Any booking going beyond 00:00 will incur penalties.

Quotations:

A quote doesn't confirm booking.

A quote is only valid for 3 days.

Kindly accept the quote online or via email.

To confirm booking, 50% non-refundable deposit (see cancellation policy for more details) should be paid and the remainder 24 hours before the booking, failing this the booking is deemed to be void. Any extras to be paid on the day of the booking.

Alternatively, a signed quote as acceptance and Purchase Order to be sent via email to confirm booking.
Cancellations:
Should a cancellation arise, the client should immediately inform The Village Garden in writing.
A percentage of the invoice total will be charged for the below cancellations.

10% - One month prior to booking.

50% - Two weeks prior to booking.

75% - One week prior to booking.
-
100% - 6 days or less prior to booking.
There is an option to postpone the event but this can not be guaranteed as this is subject to availability.
Outside Catering & Drinks:

No outside catering or drinks are allowed to be brought in. (except cakes)

All catering requirements to be discussed and arranged with The Village Garden Restaurant only.
Dietary Requirements & Allergies:

Allergies and dietary requirements should be discussed with the restaurants two working days in advance.
Venues/Spaces For Hire:

The Client will be granted access to the facilities in a fit state and will be responsible for returning the facility in the same condition. Failure to do so will result in a charge of the Client.

Any breakage that occurs during the duration of the booking will be charged additionally to the client.

The Village Garden does not provide decor services but outsources from a few reliable vendors with whom the client liases directly. ● The client is welcome to bring in your own decor

Decor Penalties:
Any balloon(s) found in fish ponds or in trees will result in an immediate penalty of N$500.
Any confetti/glitter found in the space will result in an immediate penalty of N$1000

Beautiful set-up restaurant with sufficient space for outdoor dining. Space has been allocated for those who wish to work with WiFi availability. They are at the location where LemonTree was situated. During weekdays they are open until 5 pm and over weekends until 3 pm. Breakfast and lunch menus are well-priced and affordable and portions are generous.
